GREAT CRESTED FLYCATCHER - Myiarchus crinitus

The UK's 637th species - a 1st calendar-year Great Crested Flycatcher present in a Tingwall garden, Shetland on October 15th - 16th 2025 has been added to catagory A of the British List!

The bird was first seen by non-birders and was only identified as Great Crested Flycatcher by members of the Shetland Bird Club Rarities Committee after it had gone.
